Field Sales/Account Manager
We have an excellent opportunity to work within a Field Sales/Account Manager role for our established client based near Huntingdon. There will be a lot of travelling involved so you will need a full clean driving licence but you will have access to a company car, mobile telephone and laptop. You will need to be target-driven, enjoy sales and be proactive and target driven.
Working closely within the Sales Manager you'll promote the company's products, to a variety of customers. Experience in the medical sector would be ideal but applications from other industries will be welcome.
You will be involved in identifying new sales opportunities as well as maintaining existing customer relationships,
Duties will include:
·arranging appointments, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling;
·presenting to clients
·building and maintaining positive working relationships
·keeping detailed records of all contacts;
·reaching (and if possible exceeding) sales targets;
·planning work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables. Once confident in your role, you will have your accounts and will be expected to plan how and when to target health professions;
·keeping up to date with the latest industry data supplied by the company, and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with customers during presentations;
·monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products;
·maintaining knowledge of new developments in the sector, anticipating potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapting strategy accordingly;
·developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts;
This role will offer a starting salary of around £23k - £26 (experience dependent) but an uncapped commission structure is currently in place offering additional financial reward.
Use of a company car, mobile phone and laptop will also be provided.
Candidates for this role will, ideally, have knowledge of the NHS and/or previous field sales experience within the medical sector, however strong sales skills from other backgrounds will be considered.
