Machine Minder wanted for long standing, well established manufacturing business based in St Neots, Cambridgeshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with experience in the manufacturing/production sector to hone in on skills minding complex machinery in a fast paced, clean environment.
Duties will include looking after various types of machinery, packing goods, quality checking, logging data, general housekeeping and other production/manufacturing related duties.
The successful applicant will be required to work 2 weeks training on from 08:00 until 17:00 then move on to a rotating shift pattern which will be 12 hour days which will include every other weekend. Premiums will be paid for weekend and evening hours.
Previous experience in a similar role operating machines in a fast paced manufacturing/production environment is highly desirable and attention to detail is key, as well as a good level of English.
Whilst training for the first 12 weeks your rate will be lower at £8.71 per hour, then after that you will be paid an equivalent salary of £22,500 per year with plenty of overtime on offer.
