Point Professional Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Claims Handler for our client based in the Huntingdon area. You would be working within a very busy team, managing your own case-load and ensuring the highest standards of customer service. You will be dealing with the entire claims process from start to finish. You will keep accurate records to ensure your portfolio is up to date and report any complaints or problems to ensure these are rectified as soon as possible. Duties will include administration, updating the database, processing payments, maintaining diaries, dealing with customers over the telephone and face to face and be happy to work to KPIs. You will need to be a proactive individual who takes pride in your work and always aims to provide the highest level of customer service at all times. You will be comfortable making outbound courtesy calls to keep customers updated on progress as well as taking inbound calls. Previous experience in a similar role is essential, together with strong IT skills, a flexible and positive attitude, have a patient and friendly disposition and excellent communication skills. If you have worked in insurance that would be an advantage but not essential, but previous customer services experience is essential. You will be working 37.5 hours per week between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is £18,000 per annum.
