•The role is expected to have a proportion of day-to-day value adding activity as well as supervisory requirements.
Key Responsibilities Warehouse Team Leader
Team Leader responsibility within the Goods In and Warehouse department to include:
•Organise the workload and resources of the department based on the operational needs of the business.
•Regularly communicate and review the department progress against set KPIs.
•Manage the department budget accordingly within scope.
•Ensure all resources within the department are used effectively.
•Manage the conduct and behaviour of the department in line with company expectations.
•Perform regular one to ones with employees with your team to ensure their individual objectives and goals are set, reviewed and achieved.
•Develop employees' skills, knowledge and strengths by providing day to day coaching and mentoring.
The Warehouse Team Leader will have
•Previous experience and knowledge of Goods In and inspection within engineering or similar field
•Previous experience knowledge of warehouse and inventory management
•Planning and organization skills with the ability work to tight deadlines.
•Confident in a visible environment with a high level of personal and professional credibility.
•A good level of education and able to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
•Ability to analyse problems and suggest appropriate direction to resolve.
•Previous experience of stock management systems
•Previous experience of managing a team.
•A people drive improvement mentality' able to demonstrate success through development of individuals or teams.
•Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
Monday to Friday days 37.5 hours a week
