Thermoforming Machine Setter

TheThermoforming Machine Setter will be responsible for production targets, maintaining quality standards and machine tool changes.
To ensure that all safety standards are adhered to.
Main Responsibilities for the Thermoforming Machine Setter
Carry out complete tool changing and setting on vacuum forming machines.
Responsible for minor modifications, making new cutting plates, drilling tapping and re-mouting of tools etc.
To ensure that all products manufactured conform to product specification and are in accordance with specifications, customer requirements and budgeted outputs.
Ensure tightest possible control over material usage and wastage.
Ensure quality control measuring equipment is kept in good working order.
To ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained.
To ensure the company hygiene policies are adhered to.
Help implementation of new ideas / improvements and working practices
Ensure all communication between yourself and your colleagues is clear and delivered in a professional manner.
Maintain effective accurate systems and records that can be accessed at any time by colleagues.
Share workloads covering sickness and holidays. Be proactive to assist with colleagues temporary increased workloads.
Have a flexible approach to changes in working relationships and working methods.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all colleagues at all times.
To ensure compliance with the Organisation Environmental, Safety and Employment Legislation policies.
To ensure allocated machines are controlled, giving every regard to safety standards.
To report any defect that may pose a safety hazard.
To report or correct any defect to product or machine that may result in reducing standards of quality or safety of machines.
Ensure that all personnel under the Thermoforming Machine Operator's control carry out their duties in a safe, efficient and quality conscious manner.
Hours of work for the Thermoforming Machine Setter
Double days 6am to 2.00pm and 2.00pm to 10.00pm Monday to Friday
