Responsibilities for the Mechanical Test Technician
Working within a growing Mechanical Engineering team, the role involves

•Setting up assemblies for test using a variety of standard and custom fixtures
•Developing test methods and jigs and fixtures
•Testing complex electromechanical assemblies and scientific instruments

About you:
You will be enthusiastic, curious, energetic and proactive and interested in what our client is seeking to achieve.
Alongside excellent mechanical development skills, we would like the Mechanical Test Technician to have:

•Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical / electronic drawings and to follow these to assemble the required product
•Experience of using mechanical and electronic measurement equipment
•Good understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
•Strong analytical/problem solving skills
•Good report writing skills including results summary
•Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams
•Rigorous attention to detail combined with a creative approach to problem solving
•Good communication skills (written & verbal)

Monday to Friday 37.5 hours days
