HR Assistant - Huntingdon

HR Assistant required to support an innovative and progressive HR Manager within a well established technology organisation based near to Huntingdon.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR Administrator who is looking for their next step into a role with more responsibility. Candidates will ideally have their CIPD level 3 or be studying towards this. You will be a pro-active and hard-working individual, with good all round IT and administration skills and a keen desire to progress within an HR career.

The HR Manager is going to take a more strategic role and therefore is looking for an HR Assistant to support the day to day HR duties as follows:

• Co-ordinating and assisting Line Managers with the recruitment process to include, liaising with recruitment agencies, arranging interviews, administering offer letters, contracts of employment, checking right to work status's etc.
• Taking minutes for HR meetings, documenting discussions, and following up with any further administration necessary.
• Supporting the HR Manager with employee relation cases such as maternity leave, disciplinaries, flexible working requests etc.
• Providing support to Managers to include absence management, probation reviews and performance related administration.
• Maintaining the HR database, ensuring all documentation is up to date and relevant.
• Providing advice to employees on company benefits and manage administration for company pensions, Bike2Work scheme, private healthcare, and other company benefits.
• Ensuring all job descriptions are kept up to date
• Providing absence reports and supporting mangers with return-to-work interviews and ensuring the correct procedures are being followed.
• Advertising positions on university websites and working with managers to build rapport with universities and students through insight days and Student portals.
• Day to day management of the HRIS (Tensor) database ensuring systems are kept up to date, permissions are set correctly and generating work schedules and clock in cards
• HR Project Administration
• Assisting with payroll administration
• Assisting the HR Manager with the maintenance and development of HR procedures and policies
• Scanning and Filing
• Role modelling expected behaviours and be an ambassador of the company culture
