The Tooling Machine Setter will be responsible for production targets, maintaining quality standards and machine tool changes.
To ensure that all safety standards are adhered to.

Main Responsibilities for the Tooling Machine Setter

Carry out complete tool changing and setting on vacuum forming machines and other machines within Production.
Responsible for minor modifications, making new cutting plates, drilling tapping and remounting of tools etc
To ensure that all products manufactured conform to product specification and are in accordance with specifications, customer requirements and budgeted outputs.
Ensure tightest possible control over material usage and wastage.
Ensure quality control measuring equipment is kept in good working order.
To ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained.
To ensure the company hygiene policies are adhered to.
Help implementation of new ideas / improvements and working practices
Ensure all communication between yourself and your colleagues is clear and delivered in a professional manner.
Maintain effective accurate systems and records that can be accessed at any time by colleagues.
To ensure compliance with the Organisation Environmental, Safety and Employment Legislation policies.
Report any defect that may pose a safety hazard.

Double days 6am to 2.00pm and 2.00pm to 10.00pm Monday to Friday
