Our client who is based in Paxton Hill - St Neots - Cambridgeshire is looking for a dynamic Supply chain Administrator to join them on a temporary basis (minimum of 2 month)
The vacancy:
As part of our small busy team this role is needed to support the wider supply chain team with day-to-day administrative duties.
Activities:
• Raising and distributing purchase orders on internal ERP system (Syspro), providing technical drawings where required.
• Processing and chasing purchase order confirmations.
• Chasing suppliers for overdue deliveries and providing updates to the team.
• Resolving purchase price variances (PPV's) and advising where bill of material (BOM) updates is required.
• Extracting On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) KPI data from Syspro (ERP system) and creating monthly reports for use by the Supply Chain and Procurement Managers.
• Evaluating stock levels and helping to maintain production availability.
• Maintaining the finite shipping list and assisting with general planning administration as required.
• Issuing and printing job cards and drawings for the manufacturing workshop.
• Assisting with other general administrative tasks to support the wider company objectives.
The person:
• Previous experience of an administrative role in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Ideally educated to A Level with GCSE English & Maths Grade C minimum or equivalent.
• Strong IT skills including but not restricted to: MS Office package, Excel in particular.
• Experience of ERP systems within a manufacturing environment is desirable. However, full training will be supplied.
• Excellent organisational skills, motivated and self-disciplined with a strong eye for detail detail and speed is king in this role.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal along with strong interpersonal skills and team oriented.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proactive approach and a can do' attitude.
• Open to change with a desire to achieve and improve.
