Point Recruitment, based in The High Street, Huntingdon, are delighted to announce the launch of Huntingdon’s first Recruitment Fair.

The team at Point Recruitment saw a need for a recruitment fair in the area having attended a number of Recruitment/Business Fairs in 2017, all of which were located outside of the area in Peterborough or Cambridge. They found that the candidates they met at the fairs were looking to work in the area local to the fair and although not far, Huntingdon and the surrounding areas such as St Ives and St Neots were considered by many to be too far.Not to be deterred, the team at Point Recruitment decided to organise the town’s first Recruitment Fair, designed to help local businesses reach a local candidate base.

Loraine Rance, Director at Point Recruitment comments “The team saw a real need to have a Recruitment Fair to cater for the local area and so we decided to make it happen ourselves! Our focus is to match the right candidate with the right job for the long term and we believe the fair is a great way of making those first connections.
